The Sharp Ranch is loaded with all sorts of wildlife and acts as a deer magnet from the adjoining 550,000 acre ranch. Having the large cultivated field in the center of the ranch is ideal for attracting large numbers of game from the adjoining brush. When in wheat, it is common to see very large numbers of Whitetail deer, Hogs, and Turkey out grazing the field during the winter months. Turkey roost in the larger trees and travel the brush lines throughout the entire property. Hardwoods such as hackberry and china berry trees, along with thick mesquite cover, are all around the large cultivated field making for excellent deer blind setups. There are countless game trails traveling in and out of the field and brushy areas from the wildlife traveling to feed in the morning and evening.
