Current and Historical Producing Oil and Gas Wells

This map is provided by the Texas Railroad Commission and depicts all of the current and historical producing oil and gas wells in the state of Texas as of 2008, as well as other permitted well locations.  This map can be a useful tool for buyers of Texas land that comes with all or part of the mineral estate.  If your Texas ranch, hunting land, or recreational property comes with minerals, this map will give you an idea of the amount of oil and gas activity that has occured in the viscinity of your property.
